If you are like me, you want the best workmanship for the lowest possible price. I don't blame you. However, what I have found out in my 50 plus years on this planet is that the two rarely go together. When it comes to the health and safety of myself and my family, the cheapest price may not always be the best or safest decision and electrical work is no exception.

Please understand that a contractor simply cannot hire qualified, skilled labor; have the proper insurance coverage, use quality supplies and charge the lowest price. When a business tries to do so what usually gives is quality and honesty. As the owner of Express Electrical Service I refuse to compromise and put my customers life, their family and their property in harms way or jeopardize my reputation just to get a job. In fact, I am fine losing work to my competition based on price alone. Why? Because even though their lack of skills give electricians a bad name, incompetent-low priced electricians are the cause of most of my work.

I have been blessed to have some of the best customers a company could ever ask for and giving them the best service and the highest quality workmanship is my primary focus. The pricing format I have created and shared below enables me to do so.

No Surprises! Know in advance what the work will cost you regardless of how difficult the job is or how long it takes the technician to complete.
No more hard to swallow charges! You don’t have to worry about keeping track of the time it takes for a technician to sit in a supply house, the time it takes to get to your home or business or for taking phone calls or coffee breaks.
No more worrying about slow technicians. Everyone has a bad day once in a while and even though we only hire the most skilled and efficient electricians, if they take 2 hours or 2 days the price is the same.
You don’t have to feel rushed. Since the price doesn't change with time and our technicians do not feel rushed to get the job done, neither should you feel rushed by asking them questions. Our technicians are encouraged to give you all the time you need to make sure that you are thoroughly informed and satisfied.
More Efficient and Skilled Technicians. When a technician is paid by the hour there is no incentive to become more efficient. Think about it; The faster and more efficient they become, the less money they make. With Express Billing our electricians are required to become as efficient as possible. The faster and better they perform, the more money they make and the less we have to charge the customer. Slow, inexperienced employees always cost the customer more money than faster qualified ones.

Our technicians know that if there is ever a problem with their work, the customer will not be charged for us to make it right nor will they be paid to do so. Because of this our technicians do everything possible to make sure the work is done right the first time.

How Express Pricing Works

1- The customer calls and tells us what they need and when they would like the work done.

2- Using our 30 plus years of experience we give you a not to exceed price over the phone

3- We schedule an appointment for a technician to do the work.

4- The technician will confirm the not-to-exceed price or adjust it in the event they find something to be different than discussed..

5- Once approved, the technician will start the work immediately.

These steps allow us to keep our overhead low, and the Express Pricing Structure that we have developed enables us to give you the quality work you deserve at a fair and reasonable price.

Q&A

Do you ever give free estimates?

Actually there are no such thing as free estimates.Think about it. Somebody has to pay that person to travel to your home or business, speak with you, look at the job, write up an estimate and then drive back to the office. This process can take 2-3 hours out of the day and estimators don’t work for free! Their salary, insurance, taxes and benefits have to come from somewhere and that somewhere is from the customers that hire them. The cost of giving estimates MUST be figured into the labor and or material if a contractor wants to stay in business.

In order to hold our prices down AND give our customers the kind of service they deserve, rather than employing an estimator, our technicians use a proven pricing method to price the job when they are ready to do the job.

Less lost labor means greater savings for the customer.

What if the technician does the work in less time than they figured? Even though most of our pricing is fairly accurate, if we over estimated or if things go smooth and we get the job done a faster than anticipated, you will get charged less. It really is as simple as that. We want our customers for life, not just one job and to make a little extra profit by overcharging you isn’t worth it to us.
